Inp.polri.go.id - Aceh Tamiang.  President Prabowo Subianto marked the arrival of Eid al-Fitr on Saturday (21/3/2026), by leading a call for national solidarity and hard work. 

After spending Eid Al-Fitr eve’s monitoring security operations in Medan, the President traveled to Aceh Tamiang to perform the Eid prayer alongside local residents, signaling a "periphery-first" approach to his holiday engagements.

"I, Prabowo Subianto, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, on behalf of myself, my family, and the Government, wish you a Happy Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah. Let us use this moment to forgive one another and strengthen our unity as one nation amidst the various challenges we face," said President Prabowo Subianto in a broadcast from the Presidential Secretariat, as reported by antaranews.com.

The President’s travel itinerary, which included stops in North Sumatra and Aceh, as a move to strengthen the "big family" of the Indonesian nation. Accompanied by key cabinet members including Cabinet Secretary Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono, the President said that the holiday should serve as a catalyst for building a "fairer, more prosperous, and stronger" Indonesia. 

While the President celebrated in Aceh, the State Palace in Jakarta remained open for a public Eid Al-Fitr open house to allow citizens to gather and celebrate the "day of victory" following the month of Ramadan.
