inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto conferred the title of National Hero on 10 figures deemed to have rendered significant service to the nation.

The National Hero conferment ceremony took place at the State Palace, beginning with a moment of silence for the departed heroes, led by the President.

The conferment of the title of National Hero was a form of state recognition for the contributions of these figures in the fields of leadership, democracy, human rights, and their commitment to the people.

This decision was stipulated in Presidential Decree (Keppres) Number 116.TK/2025 concerning the Conferment of the Title of National Hero, which was issued in Jakarta on November 6, 2025.

The conferment ceremony was also attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, members of the Red and White Cabinet, and representatives of the families of the National Heroes whose names were announced today.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of plaques and title documents to the families and heirs. The government hopes that this conferment will inspire the younger generation to continue contributing to the nation.

This announcement is the latest since the designation of national heroes on November 8, 2023, by the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo.
