Inp.polri.go.id - Beijing. President Prabowo Subianto departed from Beijing to Washington, D.C., on Sunday (10/22/2024), concluding his state visit to China. 

Chinese Water Resources Minister Li Guoying and members of the People's Liberation Army saw him off at Beijing Capital International Airport, alongside Indonesian Ambassador Djauhari Oratmangun and other Indonesian officials, according to antaranewscom.

President Prabowo’s son, Didit Hediprasetyo, and Foreign Minister Sugiono joined the delegation bound for the U.S. The flight took off at 2.40 pm local time.

During his stay in China, he met with President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang, and National People’s Congress Chairman Zhao Leji to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation in economics, health, and education. He also attended a state dinner at the Great Hall of the People.

Earlier on Sunday, President Prabowo participated in the Indonesia-China Business Forum 2024, which saw the signing of multiple Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between Indonesian and Chinese firms on food security, energy security, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, and healthcare.
