Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated 31 ambassadors at the State Palace in Jakarta on Monday (24/3/2025). 

The appointments, formalized under Presidential Decrees No. 25/P and 40/P of 2025, were read by Deputy for State Apparatus Administration Nanik Purwanti, according to antaranews.com.

The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by the decree reading and the oath-taking led by President Prabowo. The ambassadors pledged to uphold the 1945 Constitution, execute their duties with integrity, and serve the nation responsibly.

Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and senior government officials attended, including Minister of Foreign Affairs Sugiono and Coordinating Minister for Economic Affair Airlangga Hartarto, Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Budi Gunawan, Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, and Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar. House Commission I deputies Dave Laksono and Anton Sukartono were also present.

Among the appointees, 25 are career diplomats, while six come from diverse backgrounds, including law, academia, and the military. The ceremony concluded with the signing of official documents, marking their formal assumption of duty.
