The Bekasi Sub-regional Metro Police says they are still waiting for the follow-up instruction from the Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps to operate the South Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road functionally. If they decide to operate the toll road functionally, it will become one of the main routes for the return flow of Eid this year.

Bekasi Sub-regional Metro Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Mustopa said that they are currently adjusting the functional toll road including the traffic engineering that will be implemented.

"While waiting for further instructions, we have prepared the arterial route after the South Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Gate exit in the Bojongmangu area," he explained as quoted by Antara on Monday (3/24/2025).

According to him, his party has checked the location and prepared the arterial section that will be used as a connection between the two toll gates. Its function is for diversion by installing signs and other related facilities.

"We are coordinating with the local government and related stakeholders. TheSouth Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Route is functional to help reduce vehicle density during the return flow," he said.
