Inp.polri.go.id - Medan. President Prabowo Subianto said disaster response efforts in several flood- and landslide-hit areas in Aceh and North Sumatra were under control after he spent two days inspecting affected locations and evacuation centers. 

The visits were aimed at ensuring aid distribution, infrastructure recovery, and public services were running properly. 

“I see the situation is under control. I keep checking. There are some natural and physical constraints and slight delays, but I visited evacuation sites and the conditions are good, services are running well, and food supplies are sufficient,” President Prabowo said on Saturday (13/12/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

The president reviewed areas that were previously isolated, including Takengon and Bener Meriah, where road access and bridges have begun operating again. Access in Aceh Tamiang has also been restored.

President Prabowo thanked disaster-response personnel and said the government has prepared plans for housing relocation for affected residents. He also noted that evacuees remained resilient despite the situation.
