Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to receive Secretary-General of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), To Lam, with a state ceremony at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Monday.

Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media at the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana, said on Sunday (9/3/2025) that after the ceremony, President Prabowo and Secretary-General To Lam will hold a private meeting followed by bilateral talks between Indonesian and Vietnamese delegations. 

Discussions will focus on strengthening cooperation in strategic sectors,, according to antaranews.com..

As part of his visit, Secretary General To Lam will also meet Indonesian parliamentary leaders, including People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) Chairman Ahmad Muzani, House of Representatives (DPR) Speaker Puan Maharani, and Regional Representative Council (DPD) Chairman Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin. He is also scheduled to engage with Indonesian business leaders.

Secretary General To Lam and his delegation arrived in Jakarta on Sunday for a three-day state visit, marking 70 years of diplomatic ties between Indonesia and Vietnam.
