The two suspects were arrested on suspicion of being involved in a criminal theft case with violence that occurred on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at around 13.00 WIB at Pekon Gumukrejo, Pringsewu Pagelaran, to be precise in front of the Madinatul Ilmi Pagelaran Islamic Boarding School. The incident began when the victim, M Putra Ubaya (13), a resident of Pekon Padangrejo, left for the Madinatul Ilmi Islamic Boarding School to visit his friend. When they arrived in front of the Islamic boarding school, an unknown person came and reprimanded the victim, accusing that he was speeding on the road. Then the man told the victim to call his parents, but when he was about to call, the victim's cellphone was taken and when the victim tried to get it back, the victim was threatened to be slapped and then the unknown man ran away with the victim's cellphone. "Due to this incident, the victim lost his Oppo A54 cellphone which he bought for Rp2.2 million and reported it to the Police," said Kapolsek Pagelaran. The police then carried out an investigation and succeeded in securing the suspect ST alias Sen Sen, who is a resident of the East Pringsewu Village for having the victim's cellphone. During the interrogation process, ST admitted that the cellphone was obtained by buying it for Rp1.1 million from the suspect AR, a resident of Pekon Rantau Tijang, Pugung, Tanggamus. "After obtaining the intel from ST, the police then arrested AR while he was at a billiards game location in Bandar Lampung. He admitted that the cellphone was obtained from his theft at the Pagelaran area," explained Kapolsek Pagelaran.
