"We carry out the cleft lip surgery as a commemoration of the 76th Anniversary of Bhayangkara and we will open this free of charge activity to the public. The implementation will be on June 15, 2022," explained the Head of the Riau Islands Police (Kapolda Kepri), Commissioner Muhammad Harris in Batam, Saturday, (05/06/22). The Head of the Health Division (Kabiddokkes) of Polda Kepri explained that this social service was a collaboration between Polda Kepri and the Indonesian Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Association (PABMI) Smile Train Indonesia. "The activity is planned to be held at the Bhayangkara Hospital (RS) of Polda Kepri and we do not limit the number of participants," said Commissioner Muhammad Harris. There are several requirements to be able to take part in this surgery. For the cleft lip surgery, the baby is at least 3 months old and has a body weight of 5 kilograms. "While for the cleft palate surgery, the babies who will undergo surgery are at least 1.5 years old and has the weight of at least 10 kilograms and well after being observed in health examination at the time of surgery," closed the Riau Islands Police Intermediate Officer.
