inp.polri.go.id - Palembang. The South Sumatra Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, paid a courtesy visit to the South Sumatra High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) in the Jakabaring area of ​​Palembang on Tuesday morning (7/14/2026). 

The meeting aimed to strengthen solidarity among law enforcement officials to ensure a conducive public order and security situation in the Land of Sriwijaya.

On this occasion, Sandi stated that this close relationship between the institutions is based on one overarching goal: a conducive public order and security situation.

"We are holding this gathering today to strengthen collaboration with our colleagues in the prosecutor's office. Our main goal is to strengthen a conducive public order and security situation in South Sumatra, which is also an integral part of our shared spirit, 'Nyago Bumi Sriwijaya,'" the South Sumatra Regional Police Chief emphasized.

The Head of Public Relations of the South Sumatra Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Nandang Mu'min Wijaya, added that the presence of these police officers demonstrates the institutions' commitment to collaboration.

"This meeting sends a very clear message to the public that law enforcement officers in South Sumatra are very solid. This proactive collaboration, devoid of sectoral egos, is purely oriented towards creating a sense of security and legal protection for all elements of society," said Nandang.

The warm and strong synergy between the police and the prosecutor's office in South Sumatra Province is not merely a form of institutional coordination, but a concrete manifestation of the state's presence in the community. 

Through the spirit of brotherhood "Nyago Bumi Sriwijaya," these two law enforcement institutions stand side by side to ensure that the wheels of life, development, and the economy of South Sumatra's citizens can continue to turn on a solid, secure, and peaceful foundation.
