inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Around 18,000 Electronic System Organizers (PSE) are required by the government to sign an anti-online gambling integrity pact.

The Ministry of Communication and Information have prepared the integrity pact in the private PSE registration account.

“The private PSEs are required to agree with the integrity pact immediately, so we won’t revoke the PSE registration,” says Minister of Communication and Information, Budi Arie Setiadi on Tuesday (8/27/2024).

In his statement, he explains that the Private PSE are required to agree with the pact as in accordance to the Government Regulation Number 71 of 2019 concerning the Implementation of Electronic Systems and Transactions (PP 71/2019) and Regulation of the Minister of Communication and Information Technology Number 5 of 2020 concerning Private Electronic System Organizers (PM 5/2020).

According to the ministry regulation number 5 of 2020, PSE who do not comply with the integrity pact will be administratively sanctioned by termination of access to the Electronic System (access blocking).

“We have to make sure that our digital space is healthy and productive. This is necessary to realize 2045 Golden Indonesia,” concludes Minister Budi.
