inp.polri.go.id - West Pasaman. The maximum security provided by West Pasaman Sub-regional Police  for Easter Day receives the highest appreciation from the congregation and church leaders.

Such appreciation was conveyed by Sintua Ramsir Pasaribu and Rev. Tito Silalahi as the Head of the Church and the person in charge of the HKBP Church (Huria Kristen Batak Protestan) in Jambak Jalur V, Luhak Nan Duo District, West Pasaman Regency, Sunday (4/20/2025).

“We thank the police, particularly the West Pasaman Sub-regional Police  who were present and provided us security during Maundy Thursday Mass, Good Friday to the Easter services," said Ramsir Pasaribu.

Ramsir Pasaribu said that the presence of police officers had a big impact in creating a sense of security and comfort, so that church services could go safely, solemnly and peacefully.

Extra security was also seen during the security of the entire series of Easter services by deploying 65 officers divided into four churches in West Pasaman Regency.

Other than at HKBP Jambak Church, security also spread to other churches in West Pasaman during Easter in collaboration with Sector Police and the community.

Through these strategic steps, the West Pasaman Police reaffirm their central role in maintaining conducive public order and security, guaranteeing freedom of worship, and strengthening tolerance between religious communities.
