Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) reported a decrease in crime rates with 473 cases on Saturday (21/10/2023) and 1,238 cases on Sunday (22/10/2023).
"In general, the trend of public order disturbances has decreased by 473 cases or 27.64 percent," Brigadier General Dr. Ahmad Ramadhan., the INP Head of Public Relations Division, said on Monday (23/10/23).
According to the Chief Spokesperson, theft or robber was the most prevalent crime with 123 cases, narcotics-related crimes with 58 cases, motorbike theft with 38 cases, gambling with 6 cases, and armed theft with 24 cases.
Traffic accidents occurred 371 times, which equal to a 14.12 percent decrease compared to the previous day.
Out of the 371 accidents that occurred yesterday, 40 people sustained severe injuries, 368 people had minor injuries, and 29 people lost their lives. The material losses amounted to Rp. 913,400,000.
