inp.polri.go.id - Central Kalimantan. Mobile Brigade Corps personnel of Central Kalimantan Regional Police held a mass corn harvest on their own land at Pasir Panjang street, Batu Belaman Village, Kumai District, West Kotawaringin Regency, Monday (4/7/2025).
As a concrete form of support for government programs, especially in the fields of agriculture and food security, this activity succeeded in harvesting 300 kilograms of corn from 0.5 hectares of land.
The corn harvest was the result of their sowing on December 5, 2024 to April 5, 2025, and it is part of an internal food security program initiated to support food security in the region.
Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Iwan Kurniawan through the Mobile Brigade Unit Commander, Senior Superintendent Nugroho Tri Nuryanto says that the success of this harvest was thanks to the cooperation and collaboration of all personnel in nurturing the field.
“We hope that activities such as this can be the example for other units and motivate the people to also support in developing the agriculture sector in your respective areas,” says Iwan.
With this food security program, it is expected to be able to strengthen the synergy between the police and the community, and become a concrete step in facing the challenges of food security in the future.
