inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Secretary General of the Ministry of Home Affairs Tomsi Tohir in his statement in Jakarta, Wednesday (6/4/2025), asked regional governments to support the President's priority programs.

The programs include Free Nutritious Meals (MBG), Construction of Three Million Houses, Establishment of Red and White Village/Sub-district Cooperatives (Kopdeskel), Free Health Checks (PKG), People's Schools, and the Garuda Superior High School Program.

He explained that so far the regional government's support for the President's priority programs has continued to develop. However, he appealed for this support to continue to be optimized.

Based on data from the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) as of June 3, 2025, as many as 260 districts/cities have not proposed land for Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) to the central government.

“This is a very good program to make our children healthy and smart," said Tomsi, referring to the MBG program while leading the 2025 Regional Inflation Control Coordination Meeting.

Tomsi invited regional governments to really take advantage of the priority program to develop their regions. Moreover, in line with the direction of the Minister of Home Affairs at the 2025 Regional Head Retreat in Magelang last February, regional heads are obliged to support the priority programs of the central government.

He emphasized that the support of regional governments would have great benefits, especially for children in the regions as their nutritional needs would be met. In addition, the program would also have a positive impact on improving the economy in the regions.

For this reason, Tomsi asked the regions to pay serious attention to the program.
