inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Vice Minister of Home Affairs Bima Arya Sugiarto urges regional heads to work together in supporting the central government’s program.
Bima notes that the grand vision of President Prabowo requires solid cooperation from all regional heads, such as realizing the economic growth of 8 percent.
“The key is cooperation, synchronization, and acceleration,” says Bima on Thursday (1/16/2025).
In his statement, Bima instructs all regional heads to sync their regional program to those of the central govt program, although he is aware that it would not be easy due to various challenges.
Efforts by regional governments in aligning central government programs can refer to the 2025-2029 National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN).
Various programs contained in the RPJMN must be aligned in the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) document.
Bima Arya Sugiarto explained that the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) has mapped the potentials of regions that could boost the national economic growth of 8 percent, and now the regional government only has to follow up on it.
He also believes that the target can be achieved if the central and regional governments collaborate. This is similar to the inflation control efforts that were considered successful thanks to the collaboration between the central and regional governments.
