inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Vice Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria says that his party is currently working on digital infrastructure equity.
According to him, the aim is to close the gap of digital use between cities and rural areas. With this goal in mind, the government set to complete the effort in five years.
“What we are doing now is improving our infrastructure to close the gap,” said Nezar on Thursday (1/16/2025).
Nezar says that currently the internet network connectivity, following the establishment of its infrastructure, has reached 90 percent.
“After that, we are going to build another infrastructure that we have not reached yet, such as in the eastern part of Indonesia,” says Nezar.
At the end of his opportunity, he emphasized that his party is committed to complete the commitment in five years.
