inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Head of the Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, revealed that 42% of vehicles have not yet returned to Jakarta. The remaining vehicles will continue to return to Jakarta until Saturday (3/29/2026).

"If we look at the current situation, 42% have not yet entered Jakarta. We are still looking into this development," said Agus on Thursday (3/26/2026).

He added that his party will ensure the security and smooth flow of the 2026 Eid al-Fitr return flow until it is complete, even though Operation Ketupat has concluded. In fact, every deployed personnel will secure people until the second peak of the return flow.

"Currently, there is still an agglomeration of activities in their hometowns, and it is possible that there will be a second peak of the return flow on the 29th. We are ready for this," he explained.

Agus stated that to deal with the second peak of the return flow, his agency has prepared traffic management, both contraflow and one-way. However, the implementation of this traffic policy will be situational and depend on conditions on the ground.

"We have certainly prepared for emergencies, whether for one-way traffic or national traffic," he said.
