Inp.polri.go.id - Pekanbaru. The Riau Regional Police have completed construction and renovation of 110 “Merah Putih Presisi” bridges across districts and cities, aimed at improving public connectivity ahead of the 80th Bhayangkara Day.
The bridges are expected to ease access to schools, health facilities, places of worship, and economic centers.
“This infrastructure project reflects our commitment to help communities gain easier access to essential services,” said Riau Police Mobile Brigade Commander Senior Superintendent I Ketut Gede Adi Wibawa on Sunday (28/6/2026).
The program was carried out in two stages: 27 bridges inaugurated in the first phase, followed by 83 in the second. By the end of June 2026, all 110 bridges were completed as planned.
Commander Adi hopes the bridges will support long-term economic growth and strengthen interregional connectivity, providing lasting benefits for residents across Riau Province.
