Search and Rescue Team Successfully Evacute 11 Sinking Shipping Boat Crews

inp.polri.go.id - Banjarmasin. The Search and Rescue officials have successfully rescued 11 crew members of Sabar Subur Fishing Boat which sank around Karimunjawa Island.

The information of the disaster was first received by the Communication Center of Banjarmasin Search and Rescue Office from the GSM Edi agent.

They reported that the Search and Rescue unit has rescued all fishing boat crew and evacuated them to Trisakti Port, Banjarmasin.

Head of Banjarmasin Search and Rescue Agency, I Putu Sudayana, thanked all parties who acted quickly in handling the dire situation.

Six members of rescue personnel were involved in the rescue effort as they immediately went to Trisakti Port to pick up the crew.

“Upon their arrival at the port, they then check the medical condition of the fishing boat crews, supported by other institutions,” said Sudayana on Sunday (10/13/2024).

The medical check-up showed that all 11 crew members survived without any reports of fatalities. The names of the crew members who survived were Darsono, Sutrisno, Dariyanto, Samsul, Sampurno, Arifin, Alim, Soyoto, Zamani, Andreas, and Rudi.
