Central Java Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector-General Ahmad Luthfi said that there is no insulation in the temple candle operation. However, the Central Java Regional Police will check the health protocol for travellers at the checkpoint. "We don't do insulation. However, we still check health protocols and travel conditions that the public must meet during the Covid-19 pandemic, such as vaccines," explained the Central Java Regional Police Chief in Salatiga, Wednesday (12/8/21).
In addition to establishing a place for checkpoints, the Central Java Regional Police will also set up a monitoring post in the toll road rest area. This post also monitors the implementation of public health protocols in transit. "We are taking this step to anticipate the spread of Covid-19 during Christmas season. It is hoped that after Christmas and New Year, in the Central Java region, we can have zero Covid-19," he concluded.
