This was conveyed during the official opening of the 2026 Riau Islands Regional Police Leadership Meeting held at the Lancang Kuning Building at the Riau Islands Regional Police Headquarters on Wednesday (2/18/2026). 

This event served as a crucial opportunity for the Riau Islands Regional Police to align their vision and actions in supporting national strategic programs and maintaining security stability in border areas.

"Integrity, loyalty, and professionalism are key to ensuring the Indonesian National Police (INP) remains a responsive, humane, and precise institution in the field," he explained.

Inspector General Asep Safrudin stated that this meeting was a follow-up to the results of the TNI-INP Leadership Briefing led directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia. He also emphasized that INP holds a significant responsibility as a key pillar for the success of government programs.

Meanwhile, the Vice Chief of Riau Islands Regional Police, Brigadier General Anom Wibowo also emphasized the crucial role of the police in addressing global economic challenges that impact national stability. He assured their commitment to creating a sense of security to maintain investor confidence and ensure smooth logistics distribution, particularly for basic necessities, in the Riau Islands region.

"We will remain committed to maintaining security stability as a key factor in economic growth and the well-being of the people of the Riau Islands," he said.
