PVBMG reports the height of the eruption was 700 meters above the peak. “There was an eruption at Semeru Mountain on Friday, September 22nd, 2023, at 09:23,” says Vulcanic Mountain Post official, Yadi Yuliandi, quoted from PMJNews, Friday (9/22/2023). “The height of the eruption was seen 700 meters above the peak,” he adds.
