Commissioner General Agus Andrianto, the Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police (INP), paid a visit to a health service event offering blood donation, general and deental healthcare, specialized medical treatments, mass circumcision health examination and other medical services in Deli Serdang on Friday (22/9/2023).
The event, which was a part of the "INP Precision for the Nation" social service program, was attended by Acting Governor of North Sumatra, retired Major General Hassanudin, North Sumatra Regional Police Chief Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi, and other officials.
"We must be active participants in the community, especially in addressing various issues, including healthcare," General Agus said in his address, emphasizing that such social activities aimed to provide healthcare to those in need.
The North Sumatra Regional Police has served 2,500 healthcare services in various locations, including Medan, Deli Serdang, Binjai, and Belawan, North Sumatra Police Chief General Agung said. In addition, plans were underway to aid around 350 stunted children in the province.
General Agus has been on a working visit for the "INP Precision for the Nation" social service program in North Sumatra . On Thursday, he distributed 3,500 food packages to fishermen and coastal communities in nearby Belawan. (mg/rd/pr/nm)
