The Head of West Sumatra Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Dwi Sulistyawan conveys his appreciation and gratitude for all members of Singgalang Mantap Brata Operation. His appreciation came after a successful election recapitulation day which has been going successfully. The success, said Dwi, was also thanks to the involvement and support from all parties involved including election organizers, election participants, and all societal elements of West Sumatra. “Throughout the voting process, the security situation in West Sumatra was safe and under control. Following the process, our unit immediately continued the operation to secure the vote recapitulation process and the election official announcement from the General Election Commission (KPU),” said Dwi on Friday (2/16/2024). On that occasion, the PR Chief implores the public to not be easily swayed or provoked by contents in social media as things would get rough following the voting day. “We hope that the people of West Sumatra will not be easily swayed or provoked by hoaxes that could hinder public security and order. Let us continue to maintain peace conditions in West Sumatra to remain peaceful and conducive,” said Dwi. (ad/rz/pr/nm)
