The Indonesian Social Ministry states the distribution progress of social assistance in Keluarga Harapan Program (PKH) has reached 98.20%. “PKH, 98.20% is successfully distributed from our target of IDR 28.70 trillion. The transaction is 97.30%,” says Social Minister Tri Rismaharini on Tuesday (11/7/2023). However, she states there are still beneficiaries who have not collected the assistance in their bank accounts. The issue of not knowing the funds have been given are said to be the main problem, followed with distance and health problems. The numbers of beneficiaries who have not in transaction is 0.9% from the total social assistance provided. “To improve our transaction, the ministry asked escorts in the field to help the beneficiaries to overcome transaction issues,” says Risma. She stressed the distributions cannot be send through PT Pos Indonesia because she committed the provisions would be delivered directly to the beneficiaries. (ad/ndt/pr/nm)
