Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. Flight operations at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Indonesia’s main aviation hub, have returned to normal following weather-related disruptions a day earlier, airport operator InJourney Airports confirmed on Tuesday (13/1/2026) in Tangerang, Banten.
“Today flight operations are normal and running smoothly. Since 00:00 local time, everything has been operating normally,” said Yudistiawan, the Assistant Deputy for Communication and Legal Affairs at InJourney Soekarno-Hatta Airport, as cited by antaranews.com.
He said airport authorities restored operations by ensuring drainage systems functioned properly, allowing all airside facilities, including aprons, taxiways, and three runways, to remain operational. On Monday, heavy rain caused 109 flight delays, seven go-arounds, and 31 diversions, according to the Airport Operation Control Center.
InJourney and AirNav Indonesia continue coordinating to prioritize flight safety, while passengers are advised to arrive early and monitor flight updates through official channels.
