Inp.polri.go.id - Pagar Alam. South Sumatra Regional Police and Pagar Alam Sub-regional Police received widespread appreciation from Pagar Alam residents for implementing community welfare projects, including clean water wells, bridge renovations, and security posts. Executed under the Indonesian National Police (INP) Presisi initiative, these infrastructure improvements directly support economic activities and local security.

Authorities built two water wells in Talang Camai and Petani, renovated the Red and White suspension bridge in Meringang to assist coffee farmers, and constructed a neighborhood security post in Sumber Jaya.

"The drill wells, bridge renovation, and security post construction are tangible proofs of Polri's care," South Sumatra Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Nandang Mu'min Wijaya said. "Following the Regional Police Chief's directive, Polri must provide benefits that the community can feel directly."

Local residents expressed gratitude for the projects, noting that the clean water access, safer crop transportation routes, and reduced theft have significantly improved daily living conditions.
