Inp.polri.go.id - Kendara. The Traffic Directorate of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police) strengthened community engagement by organizing a social outreach event with the ARMI Kendari online motorcycle taxi community on Thursday (17/9/2026).

Held at the Pojok Anoa Zebra facility in Kendari to mark the 71st Bhayangkara Traffic Day, the initiative was led by Southeast Sulawesi Police Traffic Director Senior Superintendent Argowiyono alongside officers from the Traffic Safety Sub-directorate.

Officers shared lunch with driver representatives before distributing essential food aid packages to members of the driver community.

"Online drivers serve as crucial partners in promoting road safety and demonstrating proper traffic discipline," said Chief Argowiyono, encouraging drivers to refrain from using mobile phones while operating vehicles and to strictly maintain protective gear.

The event forms part of the Polantas Karib program, aimed at building humanistic partnerships with road transport communities to improve traffic safety, order, and smooth flow across Southeast Sulawesi Province.
