The East Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police along with the military and government officials held social gathering with the locals to resolve the brawls and clashes in North Cipinang Besar, particularly at Gembrong and Prumoung neighborhood. Senior Superintendent Nicolas Ary Lilipaly said that the gathering in DI. Panjaitan street, East Jakarta on Sunday (1/28/2024), was also to mediate the two groups and declare peace. The peace declaration gathering was also attended by public and religious figures, Ops Bureau Chief, Community Development Unit Chief, Intelligent Communication Unit Chief, Jatinegara Sector Police Chief, and other key figures. “People calls for strong rejection against clashes, anarchy, vandalism, violence, bully, and other immoral acts such as getting drunk and drug use in North Cipinang Besar,” says Ary.
