Ahead Voting Day, INP Dispatch Hundreds of Security Members Abroad for Overseas Election

Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police dispatch 111 Security Task Force personnel for overseas polling stations security. They will be the ones responsible for the security of election in overseas. The Head of Security Maintenance Agency of INP, Commissioner General Fadil Imran says that the 111 personnel will be sent to Singapura, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, to Netherlands. “Today, at the International Mission Training Center of INP International Relations Division, I dispatch my fellow police members for overseas polling stations security operation,” says the INP Security Maintenance Agency Chief on Monday (1/29/2024). To the dispatched personnel, Fadil asked them to fulfil their duty responsibly and continue to coordinate with Overseas Election Commission and respective state ambassador. “The message from the INP Chief is to uphold your sense of duty, secure the operations well, and maintain your good coordination with related parties as your duty are not only to secure the voting process, but also to first coordinate with Overseas Election Commission and Indonesian Ambassador in your respective state to ensure the election would go accordingly,” said Fadil.
