Inp.polri.go.id - Sukabumi. The re-election process at polling station 05 in SDN Cisarua 4 elementary school in Sukabumi regency for the 2024 Regional Election concluded peacefully, according to Sukabumi Sub-regional Police Chief Superintendent Rita Suwadi.

“The voting process and vote counting at polling station 05 went smoothly and without any security disruptions,” she said on Sunday (1/12024).

Despite a slight decline in voter turnout, residents showed enthusiasm in selecting leaders for Sukabumi and West Java.

Sukabumi Police Chief of Operations Senior Inspector = Deden Sulaeman urged security forces to remain vigilant until all stages of the election process are complete.

“The peaceful atmosphere results from collaboration between law enforcement, related agencies, and the community,” he added, as reported by antaranews.com.

Since the voting day on 27 November 2024, Sukabumi has remained calm. Authorities hope this continues through to the inauguration of elected officials for the 2025-2030 term.

At polling station 05, as many as 260 voters from a total of 525 registered voters participated, in addition to 12 additional registered voters. Officials emphasized the importance of respecting the democratic process and its outcomes.
