Inp.polri.go.id - Sumedang. The Sumedang Sub-regional Police handled 3,982 traffic violations during Operation Zebra Lodaya 2025, conducted from 17–30 November across Sumedang District, West Java.
“These violations were recorded through ETLE, manual enforcement, and on-the-spot warnings,” said First Inspector R. Agung, the Sumedang Police Operation Chief of Traffic Unit on Monday (1/12/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
He noted a sharp rise in ETLE-based enforcement. This year, officers recorded 1,682 ETLE cases, marking a 729% increase from just 203 cases in 2024.
In addition, officers issued 695 manual tickets and 1,605 direct warnings as part of efforts to improve traffic discipline.
Helmet violations dominated the operation, with 2,303 cases recorded u. Other violations included 158 wrong-way driving cases and 54 underage riders, which police highlighted as major safety concerns.
