inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Transportation Minister Dedy Purwagandhi is collaborating with Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin to strengthen health facilities at various transportation points to support the smooth and safe flow of transportation during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday season.

The collaboration is also to ensure the readiness of medical services for people traveling home.

"To maintain smooth service, we seek support from the Ministry of Health in enhancing the health services, especially in areas prone to high traffic," said Dedy as reported by Antara Yogyakarta, Thursday (3/5/2026).

The Minister of Transportation stated that they have coordinated with Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin regarding the preparation for the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday season. 

He explained that this coordination demonstrates the Ministry of Transportation's commitment and cooperation in providing health facilities at transportation points during the Eid homecoming season.

"These posts serve as rest areas and emergency health checks for travelers and drivers experiencing health problems while traveling," said the Minister.
