inp.polri.go.id - South Sumatra. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo inaugurated 57 Presisi red and white bridges in South Sumatra (Sumsel). This follows up on President Prabowo's instructions for the benefit of the community.
"On the other hand, we are also inaugurating the construction of 57 Red and White bridges in accordance with the President's directive," said Sigit in Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra, Saturday (3/7/2026).
Sigit explained that this connecting route was purposely built by the police for the benefit of schoolchildren, farmers, and the surrounding community. This will speed up and facilitate access for residents.
"What previously might have required a detour, with this bridge, it can be much shorter," said Sigit.
More deeply, Sigit hopes that this bridge will reduce logistics costs for farmers, thereby stimulating economic growth for the community.
"And our hope is that this will not only shorten travel time but also help reduce logistics costs for farmers who may use this route," said Sigit.
Sigit also expressed his appreciation for his staff and asked them to continue overseeing and supporting the government's programs for the Indonesian people.
"And of course, I would like to thank all staff and continue to work enthusiastically to truly implement the President's programs for the people," Sigit concluded.
