The Ministry of Industry announced that Indonesia's industrial downstreaming strategy has received global recognition, as reflected in the Industrial Development Report (IDR) 2026 published by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
Indonesian Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka emphasized the importance of digital downstreaming and said that data is the "new oil" that must be utilized to win the competition.
Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Nusron Wahid revealed that downstreaming is part of President Prabowo Subianto's Astacita.
