The Ministry of Health is changing its tuberculosis (TB) control strategy by requiring 100 percent tracing of patients' families and close contacts to break the chain of transmission and accelerate the TB elimination target by 2030.
The Head of the Indonesian Government Communications Agency (Bakom RI), Muhammad Qodari, stated that as of May 3, 2026, the number of tuberculosis (TB) cases had reached 241,000, necessitating accelerated treatment through various efforts.
