Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. Tangerang City Sub-regional Police uncovered a premeditated murder where the victim’s dismembered body was stored in a freezer in Pasar Kemis, Tangerang Regency.

Tangerang City Police Chief Senior Superintendent Baktiar Joko Mujiono announced on Friday (21/3/2025) that it has arrested suspect Marcellino Raun after investigating a fraud case involving Jefry Raun, a fugitive since 2017. At Jefry’s residence, officers found a padlocked freezer containing human remains.

Marcellino, who is Jefry’s cousin, confessed to the murder in December 2023, admitting longstanding mistreatment. He stabbed Jefry, then used a hacksaw to dismember the body into eight parts, storing them in the freezer.

"The suspect planned this murder carefully, even purchasing a hacksaw in advance," Chief Baktiar said, as quoted by antaranews.com

Marcelino is charged under Article 340 of the Criminal Code on premeditated murder, facing a maximum penalty of death or life imprisonment.
