inp.polri.go.id – Bandung. West Java Regional Police Chief (Kapolda Jabar), Inspector General Drs. Suntana, M.Sc., conveyed his congralutions to the 76th Anniversary of Bhayangkara. Hopefully the Police, especially Polda Jabar will be more professional, modern, and reliable in protecting, nurturing, and serving the community. The Bhayangkara's 76th Birthday has a major theme focusing on the economic and development sectors, which is, "Precise Police Supports Economic and Structural Recovery to Realize a Resilient and a Better Indonesia". Which, he continued, the theme emphasized the commitment of the Police to always help restore the National economy after the Covid-19 pandemic, while also follows the government's strategy. This theme is also in line with the transformation of the Police towards which aimed to be a superior institution in maintaining the security stability of state in the Industrial 4.0 era, by optimizing the use of Digital technology. During the leadership of the Police General Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Si, the Police has set the tagline of the Precision Police which is an abbreviation of Predictiveness, Responsibility and Transparency with Justice. "This concept is the perfection of the Promoter Police (Professional, Modern, and Reliable) which has been used in the previous period with a problem-oriented policing approach," Kapolda Jabar said. In the current leadership, he continued, the Presisi Police emphasized the importance of the ability to approach predictive policing. With this approach the Police are able to measure the level of disturbances in public security and order through analysis based on knowledge, data, and appropriate methods so that they can be prevented as early as possible. "The word responsibility and fair transparency accompanies the predictive policing approach which emphasizes that every Bhayangkara personnel is able to carry out Polri's duties quickly and precisely, responsively, humanely, and transparently," said the former Lampung Police Chief.
