inp.polri.go.id - A total of 59 personnel from the joint Preventive Cartenz Peace Ops Task Force, Sugapa Police (Polsek Sugapa), and other personnel provided security for the Palm Sunday Service to welcome the Easter celebration at the Church of Misael Bilogai Office, Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Regency. The activity was led directly by the Deputy Chief of Police, AKP Langgeng Widodo. He explained that security aims to provide a sense of security and peace to the congregation. "We have deployed personnel at various points to maintain the momentum of the Palm Sunday Worship in welcoming Easter for Catholicism in Intan Jaya Regency which continues to run smoothly," said the Deputy Chief of Police. He also added that in its implementation, the Catholic personnel is allowed to participate in the procession of worship. "Not only providing security, but our personnel also participate in a series of worship services from ceremonial palm leaves, to carrying out worship in churches as a form of their obedience to God," added the Deputy Chief of Police.
