The National Police Traffic Corps Ready to Secure G20 Summit

inp.polri.go.id - Ahead of the G20 Summit in Bali on November 15-16, 2022, The National Police Traffic Corps held a training to prepare the personnel in using the electric vehicles at ISDC, Pusdiklalantas, Serpong, Banten. Thursday (15/9/22). Before the training started, 50 participants from the Traffic Corps attended the rally led by the Assistant Ops of Police Chief, Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi. "This training is an integral part of the Pura Agung Operation which we will secure the G20 later," explained the Inspector General. Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi explained that these electric vehicle shows the world that Indonesia is as capable as them. In Indonesia, official state activities have used the environmentally friendly vehicles. There are at least 88 electric cars and 94 electric motorcycles prepared by the National Police to secure the G20 Summit in Bali. “Today we trained all of our personnel because we know the features and mechanics of these electric vehicles are different from those we used to use," he continued. Inspector General Agung Setya Imam Effendi hopes that in securing the G20 Summit in November, the Indonesian National Police will be more prepared and able to give a good impression to the state and the world. He also hoped that the Summit would go well, smoothly, safely, and effectively. “I asked them to continue to prepare our personnel and to refresh the abilities that the members already have, so that during our security operation, we could give our all and able to carried out oru responsibilities well, "explained Assistant Ops Kapolri. The Assistant of the National Police Chief also expressed his gratitude to all the police officers who secured the G20 series which have been running in Bali, Bangka Belitung, Jakarta, and Jogja are going well. And all the front line is traffic. "I would like to thank them for their well preparation and success in securing the ongoing G20 series. If we can continue to maintain this good performance, I'm sure we can do this well," he explained.
