Police determined the truck driver with the initials of MI (18) who drives recklessly and caused a huge incident at Halim Main Toll Gate as the suspect. “He has been named as the suspect,” says Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps Law Enforcement Director, Brigadier General Raden Slamet Santoso on Thursday (3/28/2024). Meanwhile, INP Traffic Corps Chief, Inspector General Aan Suhanan says that his party has gone and educated truck drivers and their employers to prevent similar accidents from happening. Especially as the Eid Homecoming Season is approaching. Moreover, Aan acknowledges that some drivers are even under the influences of various things, such as alcohol, drugs, and even mental issues. “The driver did not have the ID Cards and drove recklessly,” adds Aan.
