Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. Three Australian men accused of murdering two fellow Australians in Bali are facing the death penalty, prosecutors told the Denpasar District Court on Thursday (30/10/2025).
“The defendants are charged under Article 340 of the Criminal Code on premeditated murder,” said a prosecutor from the Badung District Attorney’s Office during the indictment hearing, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The accused, identified as Darcy Francesco Jenson (37), Coskun Mevlut (23), and Paea Medlemore Tupou (37), allegedly killed Zivan Radmanovic and Sanar Ghanim in Munggu Village, Badung, in June.
The crime was reportedly planned months earlier under orders from an unidentified Australian figure, who financed and coordinated the operation.
Prosecutors revealed that Jenson, believed to be the mastermind, rented a villa and a white Toyota Fortuner used in the attack. The suspects allegedly used 9mm firearms to execute the victims.
The case, which shocked Bali’s expatriate community, continues next week with witness testimonies.
