inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The General Chairperson of the Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP PKK) Tri Tito Karnavian signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Head of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Marthinus Hukom.

The collaboration includes efforts by both parties to prevent the spread and abuse of drugs. This activity took place in the BNN Office Meeting Room, Jakarta, Wednesday (5/21/2025).

In his speech, Tri said that the collaboration was very important for TP PKK considering its major role at the family level. Through this collaboration, TP PKK will play an active role in socializing the dangers of drugs to the community.

"Well, one of our efforts is so that the community knows how dangerous drugs are, don't let them be curious to try, before trying we have socialized how dangerous it is," said Tri in a statement received in Jakarta, Thursday.

He explained that the threat of drug dangers does not only target adults and teenagers, but also young children as the young children tend to have a great sense of curiosity.

In addition, TP PKK has also prepared the Healthy Indonesian Family Without Drugs (KRISAN) program.

"Well, this has indeed become our program in PKK and is implemented down to the village level," he added.

Tri added that efforts to prevent drug abuse have major challenges, due to the shift in family life values ​​in the village. Cooperation with BNN is expected to be able to equip TP PKK cadres in overcoming drug abuse at the family level.

In the future, efforts to approach communities whose families are exposed to drugs will be carried out proactively, prioritizing prevention.
