Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Traffic Corps of the Indonesian National Police (INP) expanded its road safety education campaign on Monday (10/8/2026) through the deployment of traffic community education vehicles.

"These vehicles serve as pre-emptive and preventive police efforts to raise public awareness and reduce fatal traffic accidents," said Traffic Corps Head of Community Education Sub-Directorate Senior Superintendent Wisnu Putra.

Each mobile unit is equipped with advanced multimedia technology, including an external videotron, electrical systems, cameras, and three large display screens designed for outdoor public presentations. 

The Traffic Corps added three new units in 2026, bringing the total fleet to 12, which will be distributed to the East Nusa Tenggara, North Sulawesi, and South Sulawesi Regional Police. 

Chief Wisnu highlighted that the initiative targets all societal groups, with a primary focus on early childhood traffic safety education, supporting Traffic Corps Head Inspector General Wibowo's "Polantas KARIB" program for community-friendly policing.
