Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Transportation is evaluating protocol service arrangements at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Terminal 3, in an effort to ensure comfort, orderliness, and equality of service for all passengers.
Director General of Civil Aviation Lukman F. Laisa said in a statement on Saturday (12/7/2025) that while protocol services are part of airport operations, they must be carried out in a way that maintains order and respects the rights of other passengers.
“We are committed to ensuring that public spaces like airports remain comfortably accessible to all, and that special services do not create inequality in general service delivery,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.
The ministry has initiated a joint review to ensure that protocol arrangements at the airport remain proportional and comply with existing regulations. As part of the follow-up, the issuance of airport access passes will now be more selective and limited.
Revisions are also being made to standard operating procedures and on-site technical rules, according to a formal letter from the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Authority addressed to airport management.
