inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar.  The Bali Province National Narcotics Agency (BNN) uncovered a Russian drug ring involving two Kazakh nationals GT (28) and IM (35).

BNN Bali Province Head, Rudy Ahmad Sudrajat in Denpasar, Monday, said the two Kazakh nationals were accomplices of a Russian dealer who was controlled from outside Indonesia.

The evidence secured by BNN Bali officers was 30 packages of crystal methamphetamine.

The two nationals were arrested some time ago in Batuan Sukawati Village, Gianyar Regency.

According to Rudy, the goods were distributed in Bali targeting foreign nationals who were on vacation in Bali.

"Based on the results of the preliminary investigation, the two foreign suspects are accomplices of an international Russian narcotics network who will launch a black market for narcotics distribution for foreign nationals in Bali," said Rudy.

Currently, the two foreign nationals are being held at the Bali BNNP Detention Center for further investigation by investigators.

Rudy explained that based on the suspect's confession, the illicit goods would be redistributed in the surrounding area based on orders from someone with the initials EVIL who is currently still being investigated further by the Bali BNNP Eradication Team.

On the other hand, the arrest of the two Kazakh nationals began with officers observing a man who was suspicious of a man who got off his motorbike and was seen looking for something somewhere on the side of the Batuan Kaler highway, Sukawati District, Gianyar Regency.

It was reported that he was not alone. The foreign national was accompanied by another person who remained on the motorbike with the motorbike engine still running/on.

Seeing the suspicious movements, the officers then secured the two people who were known to be foreign nationals from Kazakhstan with the initials GT and IM.

The evidence that was successfully secured from the two people was 30 packages wrapped in plastic clips wrapped in black duct tape, with a total weight of 49.18 grams.
