Citing AFP, the White House's national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, said that this information is based on information from his party. "The Iranian government plans to assist Russia with hundreds of UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles), including armed UAVs in the near future," Sullivan said. Sullivan did not specify the details of that information. He only said that Iran would provide training for the Russian army to be able to operate it. Previously Iranian drones have also been used to thwarted the Houthi rebels in Yemen in attacking Saudi Arabia some time ago. "From the information that we have obtained, Iran is preparing to train Russian troops to use UAVs with an initial training session scheduled for early July," Sullivan said.
