Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions, and Transmigration has denied circulating social media advertisements claiming to recruit Village Facilitators (PLD) for 2024–2025, calling them hoaxes.

“We have not announced any recruitment for Village Facilitators. The circulating information is false,” said Rosyid, the Secretary of the Ministry’s Human Resources Development Agency, on Friday (22/11/2024).

The Ministry is taking action against the suspects, including reporting fraudulent accounts to law enforcement and requesting the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs to block them. 

“We are working to prevent more harm caused by these scams,” Rosyid emphasized, as quotes by antaranews.com.

The fake advertisements falsely promise a monthly salary of IDR 15 million and claim no fees will be charged. They often include the Minister’s photo and have gained widespread attention online, with numerous victims reportedly paying fake application fees.

Rosyid urged regional agencies to act decisively and warned the public to remain cautious. 

“Official announcements about recruitment will only be made through the Ministry’s official website and verified social media accounts,” he said.
