VP’s Complaint System "Lapor Mas Wapres" Upgraded to Block Prank Reports

Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Presidential Communications Office is upgrading the "Lapor Mas Wapres" (literally Report Brother VP) complaint system on WhatsApp to eliminate prank submissions and ensure only valid reports receive attention.

“We’re refining the system to filter out frivolous reports. Our goal is to focus on genuine complaints so we can respond effectively,” said Hasan Nasbi, the Head of the Presidential Communications Office, during a press briefing on Monday (18/11/2024).

The platform, introduced by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka via Instagram, integrates with the government’s existing complaint management system, SP4N. However, public feedback has highlighted issues such as undelivered messages, prompting ongoing improvements.

“By launching ‘Lapor Mas Wapres,’ more people are now aware of lapor.co.id, the government’s long-standing complaint portal. Over 90% of valid reports submitted there have been resolved,” Hasan explained, according to antaranews.com.

The initiative aimed to boost public trust by filtering out invalid submissions and ensuring timely action on legitimate concerns.
